The Caravan Gallery

Colin is enjoying a new favorite website of his called The Caravan Gallery. They produce great work, including books, post cards and journals all about Great Britian. Makes you proud, doesn't it.

The Caravan Gallery is a mobile exhibition venue and visual arts project run by artists Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale who are on a mission to record the ordinary and extraordinary details of life in 21st century Britain. Sorry it's been so long since Colin last blogged about anything but he's been a very busy boy. In fact we've just got back from Florence, Italy. We were out there visiting Pitti Uomo ; a leading menswear show to get the lowdown on what's hot and what's not for Autumn Winter '09. More exciting than that however, was visiting Mulas menswear boutique – one of the hottest independents in Florence – which is now stocking i am Colin! As you can see Colin's tees are taking pride of place. It's Colin's first retail customer and we're already discussing some exciting new developments with them which should be kicking off in the near future.

OPPS! By the way, I know it's extremely late but: Happy New Year!

Christmas spirit

Colin is getting into the Christmas Spirit, he has bought a new tree! That's what it's all about isn't it? Trees and stuff ...or maybe not?

Plastic fantastic show

I'm feeling a bit jealous this plastic fantastic idea by French designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac isn't one of mine. I love it! May be I still have time to steal it, the opening credits say it's a Spring/Summer 3001 collection ...Hmmm, nobody will ever know.

Anyway, Colin has a lot of respect for this geek angle to the rather predictable procession that is the catwalk show. Hope you enjoy the video too.
